Yeah I think a lot of people don't realise just how much work goes into these things, I just don't count the hours these days - it might just put me off, but i love doing it so that's all that matters, it's more productive and entertaining than watching the TV that's for sure !
(unless its an art programme of course)

i know what you mean..im not very fast...i have a bad habit of watching tv while i draw..some people ask me why i dont make a living out of drawing...i have to laugh cause if they only new how slow i was ...lol there would be no food for the fridge

Thats the same as me, very slow at getting anything finished,
although I do listen to music while I draw, which really helps...
I have even got some albums which I call my "drawing music"
Every time now I put them on I have almost conditioned myself to start drawing, it's been working really well lately.
The music is some of that "Nu jazz / Lo-fi / downtempo" stuff
It fades into the background quite well, and I think its ideal for drawing to.

yah.. i can get into that stuff...we have cable hear and there about 30 music channels to choose from anything from slow jazz to thrash metal to classical ,big band,country , etc.etc. you name it
